Inherit the century-old foundation and build a national brand
The earliest predecessor of the Company can be traced back to Sichuan Machinery established in 1877. Its namechanged many times in the history of more than 100 years and it started to use the new name Rankuum Machinery Ltd for replacing the former SDIC NANGUANG CO.,Ltd. on September 1,2005.
Having so long a history,the Company fully deserves the title of the earliest starter of modern industry in Sichuanprovince.It became an enterprise directl affliated to the No.2 Machinery Ministry of China since 1956.In the later years itwas graded as a big enterprise at the state-level and a high-tech ecterprise in Sichuan province. In 1997,it was entitled torun its own import & export business.
Rankuum Machinery was engaged in vacuum machinery industry in 1958 and soon became a major player in Chinain this domain. Since many years during its development, Rankuum Machinery kept on improving its technical level andmanufacture capability by cooperation with domestic scientific research institutes and foreign leading companies fromUSA, Germany, France, Japan and other countries. This brings it a high profile in China's vacuum machinery industry. Upto now Rankuum Machinery has developed 412 items of new products, among which 185 items were innovation in Chinaand many of them were awarded at national, ministry and provincial level. Rankuum Machinery is a major manufacturerof vacuum pumps, vacuum coating equipment and special electronic equipment in China. Since years RankuumMachinery has provided large amount of key equipment for more than four hundred production lines in China, some ofwhich were exported to countries including Japan, South Korea, USA, India, Australia, Pakistan and Singapore.

About us
Research and development capability
In order to enable the company to possess independent core technologies in vacuum acquisition and vacuum application products, and to improve the product development system, the company established a relatively independent vacuum technology product research and development institution - the Vacuum Technology Research Institute, dedicated to the design and development of customized equipment for customers and the continuous improvement of existing standard products. As a district-level R&D center of Chengdu Economic and Technological Development Zone, the institute has recruited a large number of experienced R&D personnel in the fields of vacuum acquisition and vacuum application. The institute has two R&D technical teams for vacuum acquisition and vacuum coating equipment, three laboratories for vacuum testing, electrical control technology and vacuum coating processes, and also established a postdoctoral research station.
In recent years, the R&D team led by the research institute has not only developed the ZZS2500-1/G type domestic box-type coating machine for Changchun Optoelectronic Institute, but also successfully developed the GFC-1300 high-performance fully automatic vacuum coating machine and completed the research and development of the ZZ-3200 large astronomical telescope coating machine. In addition, the company's new products have successively won 19 scientific and technological achievement awards, 50 departmental scientific and technological achievement awards, and 41 provincial scientific and technological achievement awards. It has obtained 7 invention patents and 12 utility model patents.
